This was one of the favorite places we stayed on our trip! The setting is absolutely beautiful within the sand dunes and right on the beach. The yard is so beautiful with many plants and trees and the rooms were very comfortable. The owner was beyond amazing and went out of his way to make our stay amazing. He even helped us to order dinner from a restaurant for delivery and reheated the food for us. The breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope we can come back! Thanks again.

With his finnish friend, Inna, we remade the world around squid in coconut milk From the garden/grilled fish (bought together not far from the fishermen) and good local béer! recommend these paratas for breakfast. Sun Wind Beach Kite Resort is a place with an incredibly positive vibe. Spending a few weeks with Susantha's family is an experience in itself. Delicious homemade dinners prepared by his mom, a always-smiling dad, and Susantha with his unique outlook on life. More importantly, when it comes to learning how to kite surf, I couldn't have found a better place. Susantha is a passionate person dedicated to ensuring his team teaches you how to ride a kite and have fun doing it. They wouldn't let me give up when I was feeling overwhelmed, and eventually, I started riding the board with the kite. Huge thanks to the entire team: Susantha, Chamindha, Denniske and other friends for great adventure and helping me fulfill my dream😊😊

Definitely worth going!!! The owners are super helpful. We felt like at home. You can rent scooter from them in a really good money! It was so easy to move around thanks to that!!! They served us delicious breakfasts and dinners (amazing rice with seafood)! Amazing spot close to kalpitya beach for kitesurfing. Just keep in mind that in budget room you don't have a hot water :) for us budget was okay :)
