After nearly one month of travelling I arrived to Sea Pink and wow! It became clear, I saved the best for last. Beautiful guesthouse, luxurious feel, comfortable and spotless. And if that wasn’t enough 😁 The family makes you feel like a friend right away. No language barriers, even their sweet 3year-old son speaks English. I chose the Sri Lankan breakfast and every morning a sumptuous table of delicious food and fruits was set up for me. The location is a short 5min stroll to the most beautiful beaches along the west coast. Highly recommend this special place if you visit Bentota.

I loved all the trees and vegetation. It felt like a private jungle retreat. I also liked having individual Cabanas with a verandah in front to sit and relax. The pool was lovely and the food was tasty.

On our last night, we stayed at Lucky Prince Villa and were welcomed by a very friendly family. We had some issues with our motorcycle, and the owner kindly helped me find someone to repair it for a very small cost. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully prepared. We felt like we were at auntie and uncle's house! Everything was thought of in the room! Each floor was decorated with local products and had cozy sitting areas. We were given restaurant suggestions and walked across the road to find sun beds on the beach. Our hosts were so easy to chat with and were so willing to help take us to a local restaurant as well as come with umbrellas to the beach to walk us 'home' in a rainstorm. Like: warmly greeted by hosts; presented with a flower lei and a King coconut welcome drink; very clean and spacious room with high ceilings; balcony with table and chairs as well as 2 lounge chairs; 4 pillows; fresh flowers and leaves scattered throughout the room; electrical outlets on both sides of bed; on third floor; wardrobe has hangars; room is furnished great thought; hosts are amazing - they took us to restaurant in their tuk tuk and came to beach with umbrellas to rescue us in a rainstorm; large, thick, soft towels; shower has very hot water and strong water pressure; local touches: clay vases, woven grass mats and baskets; lamps on each side of bed; extra blanket in the wardrobe; breakfast: passionfruit juice, diverse fruit plate, yogurt with honey, eggs of your choice and a variety plate with 5 different Sriracha Lankan local foods - a beautiful and delicious spread

We had an absolutely outstanding stay at Channa Villa Bentota, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Having known Channa for over 10 years and having visited Sri Lanka six times since 1995, I can confidently say that this was one of the best experiences we've had in the country. From the very beginning, the service was impeccable. We were picked up from the airport and returned there at the end of our stay, just as we requested. The transportation was punctual, comfortable, and handled with great professionalism, which made our arrival and departure seamless and stress-free. The guesthouse itself is located just about 200 meters from the beautiful Bentota Beach, it offers easy access to the sea, and the rooms are well-equipped with both a fan and air conditioning, ensuring comfort regardless of the weather. The rooms are clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, creating a relaxing atmosphere that made us feel right at home. During our stay, we also had the pleasure of being accompanied by Channa on several excursions. He guided us on a memorable tour to Nuwara Eliya, enriching the experience with his extensive knowledge of the region and its culture. His insights made the trip much more meaningful and enjoyable. We also visited the impressive Buduruvagalla Temple, which was a highlight of our trip, made even more special by Channa’s friendly and informative guidance. Additionally, we enjoyed a wonderful boat tour on the Bentota River, where we could relax and take in the stunning natural scenery and peaceful surroundings. Channa’s personal involvement and care truly made these experiences stand out. Beyond the tours, we had the pleasure of dining at the guesthouse, on invitation from Channa. The dinner was excellent—delicious, beautifully prepared, and served in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I intendetd to write some more, but the place in booking is too short.
