Firstly, the location is in a bit of an industrial area, so it feels a bit grungy and the sidewalks are broken. But the hostel itself is fantastic. It has a pool, a nice kitchen, good places to hang out. And the rooms (although some guests like to use their phones without pods or headphones) are great. Private. Shower was really good. And the rooms are nice and cool. Staff were really nice as well.

The best place where we stayed in our 2 weeks trip. Very comfy and large room well decorated and equipped. Friendly staff and very good breakfast 🥞 ! I would definitely come back there if back to Merida.

Super professional, kind, reliable and honest hosts. Give great recommendations and care about the guests. Very clean, safe and quiet, stayed 3 nights and slept very well. Good value for money and nice breakfast. Pool seemed nice and clean but we didn't try because we didn't have time.

Casa Oasis Guest House and Spa surpassed all my expectations—it’s truly an incredible place. My only regret is that I could only stay for one night; next time, I’ll be sure to extend my visit to fully immerse myself in the experience. The atmosphere is one of pure tranquility, allowing you to slow down and fully appreciate the stunning surroundings. Mérida is a remarkable city, and Casa Oasis Guest House and Spa feels like a hidden sanctuary within it. Exceptionally clean. Friendly Hostel environment with shared kitchen and dining room. Owners were very pleasant, helpful and responsive. Private, walled garden and dipping pool were beautifully appointed and lovely to use. Zoo, park and hospitals close by. Lots of interesting events happened in the park during our stay - music, ethnic market (temporary visit), Dinosaur exhibit (also temporary)! Some local stores - food, stationary, computer and print services pharmacy all within easy walking distance. Easy access to public transport for more distant destinations like more central shopping and markets if you know what you are looking for (ask the owners).. I'd definitely stay here again.
