Daniels house was amazing, rich in history, and it was beautiful inside and out. If I return to Salem, I would definitely go back to and you need longer than 1 night. The house was exceptionally clean and smelt so good interiors tastefully decorated. The owners were also lovely people and very keen to keep the historical factor of the house.

Honestly, for the sheer size of the room and the complimentary breakfast, plus the fact I had booked for my fiancé and her two children, it was great value for money, especially considering how close we were to the main streets. The hotel is beautifully furnished and the room was very comfortable and spacious. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was large and the room came with nice touches: a bottle of wine, remote skylight blinds, a heated bathroom floor, a plate of cookies in the hall in the afternoon, a list of nearby recommended restaurants, breakfast delivered to the room each morning. We arrived by water taxi from the airport and a young man from the staff met us at the wharf and brought our bags up which was a nice touch. When we left on our final day before the regular breakfast time, the staff made sure to deliver cereal and fruit the night before. A member of the staff came to take our suitcases down the stairs on his day off as the elevator was out of service. The location is perfect for catching ferries to Salem and Nantucket as well as walking distance to several fantastic Italian restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!
