Everything... It was a very comfortable place with small personal touches to make you feel welcomed. Close to town, close to the hiking trails. The owners are extremely friendly, kind and helpful and my friend was able to bring her dog along.

I really liked that the room was fully self catering: A small electric stove, kettle, microwave, fridge and braai with all the necessary utensils. It has a lovely view of the mountains and its walking distance from the square (200m) and from nearby hiking trails. The room is neat and you feel at home.

A most charming place in a quiet and gorgeous environment. Clarens is a must if you want to relax off the beaten tracks and enjoy nature in its brightest beauty. We loved the venue which is so comfortable and was like a family home to us. Tim is a fantastic host who will pay attention to every detail (the sherry decanter in our room was greatly appreciated) and will go the extra mile to meet your expectations. Guests will enjoy a delicious, home-made breakfast in a lovely room overlooking a well-kept garden with mountains in the background: here again the food and service are perfect. We would have dinner at Clementines, a lovely restaurant down the street and our headquarters for the whole duration of our stay at Clarens. If you don't have a car and want to travel around (especially trips to nearby Lesotho) don't fail to contact Maluti Tours and talk to Shane, an enthusiastic entrepreneur and great soul, who will offer you a thrilling experience of South Africa. THANKS TO ALL!
