This was my first time staying at a hostel and I was hesitant to do it, but the service was incredible and I did not feel much difference compared to hotels. Very clean rooms and restrooms. Staff is super friendly and humble. Breakfast was fresh and very tasty with so many varieties. Location is great for anyone visiting Salvador, Bahia. I met people from all over the world, including Europe, North America, South America. I had an unexpected incident during my travel and the hostel staff including the owner (Olivier) were super helpful and assisted me in every way possible. Definitely coming back if I visit Salvador again.

Calypso INN ligt in Trancoso, op 600 m van het plein Quadrado, en beschikt over accommodatie met gratis WiFi en airconditioning. We were booking at the last minute as we were driving for same day arrival and we made a mistake about location. Staff was efficient to assist with text messages to handle our problem. We hope to be a guest with them in the future.

This beachfront Inn faces Concha Beach in Itacaré, 450 metres from restaurants, bars and shops. It offers accommodation with private balcony, free Wi-Fi and an outdoor swimming pool. The food and accommodations were beyond expectations, their restaurant right across the hotel is very good and very convenient as it seats just a few feet from the Concha beach.

Pousada Ilha da Saudade biedt accommodatie aan het strand in een tropische omgeving. Het hotel beschikt over een buitenzwembad en gratis WiFi. De kamers hebben een schaduwrijk terras met hangmatten. Breakfast was great, location ideal. My room was new, only a month old, really nice!

Pousada Maria Maria is ideaal gelegen in de wijk Barra in Salvador, en bevindt zich op 6 minuten lopen van Praia do Farol da Barra, 600 meter van Vuurtoren van Barra en 5,6 km van Arena Fonte Nova. The host was awesome ! As soon as he knew I broke my phone, he helped me organize my departure, sending my postcards (I couldn't do it myself as it was an holiday and I was leaving)... Breakfast was amazing and the location of the pousada is perfect (in Barra which is a safe neighbourhood + next to the sea). I'd definitely come back there if i had to go to Salvador !

Guest House 4 Anjinhos is gelegen in Arraial d' Ajuda, op minder dan 1 km van Praia de Mucugê en 15 km van Quadrado-plein, en biedt gratis WiFi en airconditioning. A short but ao pleasant stay with two very friendly and cheerful hosts! The room was spotless, spacious, and perfectly comfortable. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the center of Arraial. And then—one of the best hotel breakfasts of our months-long journey through Latin America: a generous buffet, lovingly prepared. Fresh fruits, banana pancakes, freshly made omelets, Argentine biscuits, coffee—everything your heart could desire. Truly attentive hospitality—thank you again for everything. We would have loved to stay longer, but already had bookings in Trancoso :)
