The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was clean and tidy - felt like home! The Fish Pie WAS THE BEST I HAVE EVER EATEN - ANYWHERE!! Breakfast was excellent too.

Located in downtown Charlottetown, this historic (circa 1857) building has maintained its period charm after being converted into a modern boutique inn. After a trying drive in the rain, we arrived too early to check in -- but that didn't matter because Kent at the Front Desk greeted us warmly and offered wonderful suggestions about where we could have a good lunch, within walking distance of the hotel. (We chose the Sea Rocket Oyster House and loved it so much that we ate three more meals there.) Kent also arranged for all our luggage to be placed in our room while we were having our meal. One more important note: This hotel is comfortable and absolutely beautiful. It has been so tastefully designed.

It is remote, yet only 15 minutes to restaurants or lovely towns. The hosts are wonderfully kind. They are happy to spend as much or as little time with you as you would like. Truly a special place!
