We wanted to break down our drive and looked for a place to stay with our kids for one night and booked a night here last minute. The moment we arrived we couldn't believe our luck. The place is amazing, every small detail thought about. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are so nice, beds were so comfortable. The only noise is the birds, such a relaxing place. There is a restaurant right outside the property but we didn't eat there, and the pool seems great though we didn't try it because it was raining so hard. still the rain didn't bother us to appreciate the beauty of the place. The hostess was so kind and welcoming, she prepared us a magnificent breakfast, we would definitely recommend.

We loved everything about our stay. Primo and his wife were so kind and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious. The location was perfect for us since we wanted some peace and quiet whilst still being able to access the national park by boat.

Breakfast was wonderful. The place was very relaxing. Marion was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We would have liked to stay for longer!

We had a wonderful stay in Daneysha and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well maintained, family friendly and hospitable guesthouse when visiting Tortuguero. Also highly recommend Sergio as a guide to the national park.

Tonet & Nadia are exceptional hosts who made sure we felt welcome and were available all the time throughout our stay. The room was cleaned every day and laundry service was included, which was very valuable for us as a family with a small kid. The hosts even offered us sweet pancakes for breakfast some of the days, which was a very nice gesture. They also helped us figuring out the transport from San Jose to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca and connecting us with the driver directly, which was very helpful. All in all our stay has been great and we highly recommend Tonet and Nadia’s Black Bamboo for a nice and relaxing stay on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica.

We just stayed for one night while traveling but we would have stayed longer had we known the place before! Klaus is an amazingly friendly host. He took a lot of time to show us the property, served excellent breakfast and offered dinner and was all around pleasant. The guest house is well built and comfortable. There is a lot of forest in the area that you can probably go hiking in (we haven't tried given the brevity of our stay).
