Located in Wintrich, within 40 km of Arena Trier and 42 km of Trier Central Station, Gästehaus Föhr provides accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The property features mountain and quiet street views, and is 43 km from Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier. The guest house has family rooms. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely bottles of wine available at a reasonable price. The room was spacious with a great balcony and a view of the valley and vineyards. The breakfast was amazing with egg, cheeses, cold cuts, and lots of fruit. The bike path along the Mosel is very close so lots of opportunity for walking and biking. Nice restaurants close by as well.

She met us at check-in, walked us through everything, and coordinated breakfast. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us after visiting Burg Eltz that afternoon, before making our way down the river back home. Parking is on site. There are walking paths behind the house. She gave us excellent recommendations for dinner. The downstairs is accessible for an open tab on wine and beverages after hours as well as access to the terrace with a view of the river. She served us, sat and chatted with guests during breakfast, and was just lovely in general. She also made our children hot chocolate in the morning, which she joked was the best in Germany- but my kids actually said it was the best they'd had! We had the studio on the top floor, which was spacious, new, the entire kitchen, spacious bathroom, and even washing machine. The interior was modern. It was very hot and there was even an air conditioner.. we felt comfortable. The apartment is walking distance from the bus and train station. I would come back any time. We felt at home dealing for a week.
