Hostal the backpackers v destinaci Chugchilán poskytuje ubytování s sdíleným loungem, terasou a barem. María and her family welcomed me very nicely to their hostal. It really felt like home. They served very good and a lot food, I could take my rest and could relax very well. The rooms are cozy. The family even has a little shop, where I could buy snacks for the day. I highly recommend staying with María and her family in their hostel.

Very warm and friendly family business, we had dinner together and some nice talks. Most of the food is grown organically behind the house. The hosts also gave good recommendations about the quilotoa hike. It looks like it is a little off the loop track but actually it is not, you just go up from the view point and you will be right there! The room was comfortable with view on the mountains. Highly recommend to stay here, I would have loved to stay longer

Personál usměvavý, ochotný. Snídani jsme dopláceli, 6 dolarů za 2 osoby. Sobotní tržnice kousek, stejně jako taxi na lagunu Quilotoa. Taxi 5 dolarů.

Hosteria Alpaka Quilotoa se nachází v destinaci Quilotoa a poskytuje zahradu. Tento penzion s 2 hvězdičkami nabízí sdílený lounge a pokojovou službu. María and her husband run the hotel. They were lovely from the beginning to the end. She is a very gifted chef and will cook delicious meals for you while you stay there. Quilotoa itself seems to be going through a boom of people opening hostels and restaurants, we visited during low season and hence it seemed that the town was half empty. Prices are ridiculous cheap for what you can get. Our room had a king size bed, a little fireplace that warmed us through the night and a private bathroom with boiling water- everything that you can wish after a good day of hike. While in there we hiked Quilotoa rim, but also did the short hike to the bottom of the crater and back. All free hikes. Highly recommended to visit and to stay in this hostal. It’s conveniently place right by the entry of the town.
