The castle itself was beautiful, the rooms were fully refurbished while respecting the castle aesthetics, the beds and bathroom were great and our tower room was spacious, had an internet-connected TV and WIFI. The hosts were welcoming and passionate about their hospitality business, which definitely deserves admiration and support. The breakfast in the morning was simple, yet delicious in the way only the french know how to deliver. Warmly recommended!

This is a very beautiful place to stay. From the amazing scenery from every angle to the impeccable hospitality of the hosts. We felt comfortable and welcomed. Don't leave without experiencing a delicious dinner prepared by a very talented host. The rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated. A very positive experience all around.

The Pizza cafe a minutes walk away served a varied menu beautifully cooked.

The spacious bed and breakfast is fitted with a satellite flat-screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a microwave and a toaster and there is a private bathroom with a hair dryer and free toiletries. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. Easy to find. On arrival, the entry keypad had a plate attached telling me to ring the bell, but I couldn't find the bell. Someone passing rang the number and all was well! It was very clean and very technological with a small plastic card for room entry and flashing lights as well as a voice telling if the door was locked or unlocked. Wifi worked a treat. There were qr codes here and there, and a Hi Google box or something - I didn't dare mess with those as I am not very good with modern things! Bed very comfortable, slept like a log, and everything was clean. Breakfast self service and perfectly adequate. Auxonne is a beautiful place, and I would like to return and stay here again for longer. Thank you!
