Wifi was good too. Couldn’t have asked for more. The ride down the hills the next day was exhilarating.

A recently renovated bed and breakfast in Quingey, L’Orangerie de Malpas offers sun terrace, private parking and sports facilities. The property features garden views and is 24 km from Besançon-Mouillère train station and 25 km from Besancon Viotte Train Station. Set in a historic building, the property is fitted with a seasonal outdoor pool and is set 21 km from Micropolis. Beautiful and peaceful location, wonderful hosts, really loved the morning breakfast basket and the really comfortable bed. Also loved the horses on the property. Perfectly located to visit the pretty villages and many historic sites in the region. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Fresh pastries, pancakes and fruits are available as part of the breakfast offered at the property. This historic home is a most special accommodation to stay. Dating back to the 15 hundreds, it has been expertly restored. The spacious rooms are tastefully decorated. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the linens crispy and clean. We arrived on bicycles and were able to check in early since our room was ready. There is a large secure area for bike parking with outlets for e-bikes. We were made to feel very welcome.

This guest house features a garden. The property is non-smoking and is situated 46 km from Creux du Van. Absolutely fantastic way beyond our expectations. Cathrine is an excellent hostess.

André is a Chef and his cuisine was scrumptious. The platefuls were generous and of high quality (local products). I am gluten intolerant and all the meals were adapted to my diet. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and fully equipped: from the Nespresso machine and biscuits + apricots from their garden to the make-up removal pads! I highly recommend this place!
