This charming 18th-century guest house is an ideal base for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. It offers individually-decorated rooms and a floral garden with a pond and a shaded terrace. Amazing view of the city from a tasteful and well equipped apartment. Didn't use the pool as my mother didn't want to, but looked a great place to spend a hot afternoon

They welcomed us late at night without any hesitation even though it was almost midnight. In the morning, they welcomed us in their lovely home for breakfast with an amazing view. Very clean property, everything is new and cleverly made. Also, includes nice amenities such as tennis court and jacuzzi. Great value for money, definitely recommended!

Objekat Chambre 1er étage je smešten u gradu Kane an Rusijon, na 13 km od znamenitosti Stade Gilbert Brutus, a u ponudi ima nepušačke smeštajne jedinice, vrt, besplatan WiFi u celom objektu i terasu. I love this place! There is absolutely nothing to complain about! It's a converted residence with one ground floor room and 3 more up a winding staircase. It's a perfect combination of private room and hostel-style interaction with other guests. Owner, Pascal, single-handedly does all the work, keeping the place very clean and tidy. He speaks adequate English. At 25€ (single, mid-May, no breakfast), it's an outstanding value, too. I enjoyed it so much I stayed 3 nights. When there was no availability on the 2nd night, Pascal gave me his room.The four rooms share two bathrooms, half and three-quarter. There is a full shared kitchen/lounge, including an oven and cooking equipment, suitable for preparing full meals. Wi-fi is excellent. There is a constant supply of coffee and tea, a generous set of herbs and spices, ice cubes, and garden lemons. The description says towels and linens cost extra. This is true for towels but linens are included. The rear surroundings are lushly green and the residential street is very quiet. There is a small balcony for smoking or sitting and the large front yard has tables and chairs. There is ample, free street parking. Shopping and the beach are a long walk away, but there is good bus service. Guests should be aware that the rooms do not have external locks so they're accessible when not occupied but I had absolutely no sense of theft danger. If you. like me, don't like standard hotels, this place is for you!

After breakfast easy stroll of town center, River/canal/park just behind the property. Great value!

She made us feel not like guests, but like part of something special. The entire property is immaculately clean, with beautiful, thoughtful touches everywhere. The design is elegant and deeply French — everything from the furniture to the color palette reflects a refined and tasteful aesthetic. It’s clear that every corner was created with love and intention. The service is outstanding — attentive, yet discreet. You truly feel that people genuinely care about your comfort and experience. Mornings were a delight, especially with fresh croissants and artisan jam from a local bakery in Saint-Tropez — a small but beautiful detail that sums up the entire philosophy of the place. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to stay at Villa Romana. It exceeded all expectations, and I already can’t wait to return. Merci infiniment, and see you soon!
