Fitted with a terrace, the units offer air conditioning and feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with walk-in shower and a hair dryer. A patio with an outdoor dining area and garden views is offered in each unit. At the guest house, the units include bed linen and towels. Margaret is such a pleasant and helpful host. Room was so well presented, clean, amazingly conformable beds, pillows and duvet and fab decor. This is better than virtually any hotel room I've stayed in and the attention to detail was beyond expectations. Great location, quiet too and off street parking. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. Beautiful house and rooms. Even had a nice upstairs balcony that you could sit & relax. Both hosts (Steve & Fiona) were friendly & helpful from the word go. Helpful in suggesting places to go & eat. Breakfasts were fantastic. Host brews his own beer - ask to try it. Highly recommend this place.

The units at the inn come with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a shower. The Ancient Briton provides certain units with mountain views, and all rooms are fitted with a kettle. The Ancient Briton was one of the best B&Bs we stayed at during our 2.5-week trip through the UK. The staff, rooms, food, and overall atmosphere exceeded our expectations. The building is old but tastefully refurbished. While some stairways are narrow and dim (a bit of a challenge with luggage), the rooms were comfortable, well-equipped, and even featured unique plaster ceiling designs that gave them real character. The staff was outstanding. The woman who managed breakfast each morning (I wish I remembered her name) was especially wonderful—warm, attentive, and full of local tips. Thanks to her, we discovered the Red Kite Feeding Station in Llanddeusant, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. The pub downstairs is lively and welcoming, with excellent food and a friendly mix of locals. It does get busy in the evenings, but even as a party of six, we were always accommodated.

Offering garden views, Cwmbach Lodge luxury B&B is an accommodation located in Glasbury, 44 km from Elan Valley and 13 km from Clifford Castle. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast has private entrance. Everything about this B&B was superb. John and Clare were excellent hosts. My husband and I needed a quiet escape for my birthday, and they delivered! We're introverted and exhausted parents so the private entrance with coffee and tea was a wonderful touch. The porch was perfect for late night card games. Breakfast was divine! Delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely perfect. The room was cozy, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. I cannot say enough about this wonderful lodge. Its proximity to Hay-on-Wye allowed for wonderful bookstore browsing during the day. We are already excited to return!

At the bed and breakfast, each unit comes with a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. Additional in-room amenities include chocolates or cookies. The units will provide guests with a outdoor furniture and a kettle. Very warm and friendly welcome. Room was very comfortable, clean, good facilities and spacious. Nice view of canal from window. Good selection for breakfast. You were not left feeling hungry. We came for a wedding so did not have a chance to fully explore the area but we were able to walk along the canal in the evening before wedding to a village for a meal in a lovely country pub. We would certainly book again and use cottage as a base to explore the area. It's literally a short drive from Brecon town itself. Excellent value for money
