The eye for detail is remarkable. The breakfast was beyond fantastic.

She greeted us with whisky when we arrived, and told us the story of Gordon House. She also gave us a good recommendation for dinner (as she doesn't provide it herself on weekdays anymore). The room was clean, and everything was as described. The building is old, so don't expect fancy modern interiors, but everything is clean and the owners constantly work on improving it. And I must mention that the full Scottish breakfast was very good.

The bed was comfortable with lovely sheets, and in the morning you eat in the big farm style kitchen with Susan cooking up a fantastic breakfast next to you. Unfortunately we arrived late and could not enjoy the evening meal, but I will certainly aim for it next time.
