We were looking for a few days to wind down after a busy 3+ weeks of travel in Scotland and Barbara and her Remus B and B ticked all of the boxes. A very clean, well-appointed room was comfortable with access to shared rooms, her breakfast choices were well-prepared and tasty, and the location offered us the opportunity to have easy access to a number of points of interest with little travel time.

The room size was wonderful for us. It included both a shower and an AWESOME tub. A nightly soak after being out exploring during the cold and windy day was exactly what I needed. Chris was awesome and super helpful as was Claire. We didn't realize that the train would not be running on New Year's Day and Claire was kind enough to take us to the nearest tram station to get into Edinburgh for our afternoon tea. We had breakfast at the BnB a couple times which was very filling and tasty. The place is very comfortable overall and a short walk from the train.
