The Scarborough Hill Country Inn Bed & Breakfast is situated on a hill set in 9 acres of country grounds. This guest accommodation has 8 individually decorated bedrooms, en suite facilities, smart TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Everything! Room was perfect! Totally spotless! Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you :)

We stayed for a couple of nights as we were attending a wedding in nearby Thursford, but that was enough to feel how special Bert is. He does not just run a bed and breakfast, he shares his house with his guests and goes the extra mile to make you feel at home. Besides, the breakfast spread was amazing.

Located in Grimston, The Old Bell B&B is a recently renovated accommodation, 13 km from Houghton Hall and 7.1 km from Castle Rising Castle. This guest house provides free private parking, luggage storage space and free WiFi. The guest house features family rooms. We spent 3 nights here and it was fantastic! Our room was modern, cosy and relaxing. We Loved the decor throughout the whole property as every little detail was thought about. The hosts were amazing, attentive and sweet, nothing was too much for them. The daily continental breakfast was perfect, Jackie and Greg were friendly, helpful and lovely to talk to and gave us so much advice on where to explore. They made our stay such a pleasure. The old bell is also in such a good location, we would highly recommend the old bell and will definitely be going back - we couldn’t fault our stay at all.

On arrival I was given a warm welcome by Elizabeth, who owns the property. Breakfast is excellent with nothing spared. Elizabeth is very informative of the village and surrounding area. I was there for some bird watching and Dower House is well situated for all the local reserves. Mottey, Elizabeth's young black Labrador, is a lovely, friendly dog. All in all I had a great stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone who visits the area. There is a small shop and post office in the village and Fakenham has plenty of supermarkets, shops, restaurants and take-aways.
