The location was terrific, up a quiet lane, but only a short walk from the center with many restaurant options. The historic house has been beautifully restored, furnished with antiques, creating a home that exudes comfort and relaxation. Our host Alan was so welcoming and engaging, taking the time to make an afternoon tea and sit with us in the quiet garden courtyard asking about our travels and experiences. He shared many nearby options to help us get the most of our visit to the sea. What an amazing retreat in the middle of Shelton Mallet.
