Free cookies and water were a nice touch. Great starting point for a hiking trip in the area. Various Greek taverns and shops nearby. Lots of cats roaming the streets in the area (my girlfriend loves cats, so we had to stop every few meters so she could pet them...). Unfortunately, no real breakfast options nearby, but we found great ones in Kalambaka, around a 20 minute walk away.

I like people who do everything with smile :) The view was beautiful, room was clean and big, the hotel is not down in the town and was silent and the big bonus was that every morning you hear the songs of the birds, no noise, no people. The center of Kalambaka is 10-15 min walk. Breakfast was super, everithing was fresh. Comfort, silence, smiles and perfect vacation! Thank you again!

It has the feel of a very old place and that may turn some people off. But it was no issue for us. We loved being here and having some wonderful conversations with the owners. They are very good people!

Great location with only a short walk to the port but outside the over-crowded tourist areas. Clean room with friendly staff.

The Storyteller Boutique House features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Kalabaka, 6.3 km from Meteora. It is situated 2.9 km from Agios Nikolaos Anapafsas and features room service. The accommodation provides a lift and luggage storage space for guests. Everything about the Storyteller Boutique House was superb and of the highest quality. The decor of the of hotel, the rooms, the shower, the beds, bedlinen were of a standard found in top-class hotels. The breakfast was beautifully presented with the freshest of ingredients. The approach of pre-ordering breakfast made for low waste and sustainable. The hosts and staff were wonderful, and also very helpful with advice on visiting the monasteries.
