It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

Ivana was a very good host and responsive. Room was clean, well prepared and ahead of time. Had a very comfortable stay. Short walk from Old Town and in a quiet side street.

Spaladium Arena is 23 km away and Split Archaeological Museum is 23 km from the guest house. We stayed for 1 night. The room was very clean and good. The owners were very friendly and helped us when we had questions. We would highly recommend this room.

Host was very friendly and allowed us to drop our luggage off at 9am so that we didn't need to carry it around with us.
