Rani was so helpful in answering all our questions and helping us arrange the tours and transport from the airport. Food was really good. Rani and her family were friendly and accommodating. Highly reccommend! Great for weekend getaway. Very family friendly

A great location in the midst of nature, detached from others. Great view from the room and from the terrace, fresh air. Located between Malang and Bromo, so it is very convenient to go from the ecolodge to the Bromo tour. Scooters can be only rented on Malang, better to take minumun 120cc if you want to travel around, for example, to Sewu waterfall. Gojek works, but in the evening there maybe problems to get one, get a car in advance or ask the owner. The owners btw are very very cool and helpful! Thank you for helping us out!!!! Prepare warm clothes and socks.

The bungalow we had was richly decorated with gorgeous balinese textile curtains. What made this place truly special for us is the welcome and service Marc and Ericka (owners) gave us : they not only organized a Mt Ijen excursion for us but a fantastic massage by Aini. In the restaurant, son Ricco is a talented cook and the food was excellen... Best breakfast pancakes on and out of Bali!

Definitely one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at in my entire life and the value for money is unbelievable. The place is brand new so when I saw it on booking.com it was almost too good to be true so we went to see it in person to make sure it was as good as the pictures and it was even better! The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have the best possible stay. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely book again on my next trip to watukarung!

It was far enough from the main road to have a quiet night despite the unavoidable call for prayer at 4am. There are a few local restaurants close by. The owner welcomed us cheerily and gave us very good advice. He was arranging and let us keep the room until we came back from Bromo. The water was hot and the room was clean.
