There are in good conditions and with a full tank. - Good restaurant next door, for your breakfast. We'll book here again if we visit again Samosir island.

Mila Homestay se nachází v destinaci Padang a nabízí terasu. Siti Nurbaya Bridge je 10 km daleko a Mount Talang 47 km. I cannot recommend this stay enough. Dila, the host, was exceptional and so kind hearted that it taught me so much during my short 3 days there. It is a nice quiet location, and you can tell that Dila has put her all into making sure the guests have an amazing time. She is always there to answer questions and do everything she can to make you comfortable. She cooks a delicious breakfast with her sister, and likes to take her guests around Padang and show them beautiful things like the clear blue river deep in the village. Stuff you would never find on your own. She even noticed I liked crystals and rocks and showed me a crystal shop I would not have been aware of. I will always cherish my stay here.

The jungle 2 day jungle trek he arranged was amazing too. The accommodation in right in the middle of the town and close to everything. The rooms are good and the bed is super comfy. All in all, I had an amazing stay here.

Bylo to nejlepší ubytování, jaké jsme měli na naší cestě po Malajsii a Indonésii. Tyson a jeho rodina byli skvělí. Tysonova teta nám vařila úžasná domácí jídla. The owners Yuyun and Borja see hundreds of tourists every year but have the gift of making everyone feel special. Location, facilities and food were excellent. Breakfast and dinner at La Boca Chica restaurant, which is part of SeaGate, were the best part of our day.

Super clean place with kind, caring, and helpful hosts. The room was great, the bed perfect for a good night’s sleep with A/C. Hot shower, strong WiFi, and everything well maintained. Food was delicious. Everything reasonably priced too! Hosts were super responsive and accommodating. A perfect stop near Medan airport or for a stay in the city. 5 stars—highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Sarah, Ade and the team were fantastic and helped me out when I needed a last minute trek into the jungle. My guide Rial was fantastic too. A really peaceful escape.

Absolutely loved the staff, Risky, Gibran, Arif and Aria and all the staff were so welcoming and helpful that we will keep in touch with them. The location is stunning and we had an amazing time in the jungle trekking and saw lots of Orangutans. The village 15 minute walk away is lovely.

Bayu, Jaka and their whole team provided the best customer service I’ve ever experienced—genuinely warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. I felt completely safe and incredibly welcome throughout my stay, which made all the difference for a solo female traveller. Every staff member I interacted with went above and beyond to make sure my visit was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They helped me organise the jungle trek which I was initially nervous about but they made sure I was comfortable with the options. I will definitely be back for a longer stay. The trek they organised was fantastic too. My guides - Ponidi and Naufal - were knowledgable, friendly and made sure we had a unique experience.

The accommodation is in a wonderful location, on the edge of the village where it’s quieter, yet still just a ten-minute walk to the center. Beautiful views of the river and the jungle beyond, where macaques roam and even an orangutan made an appearance. The macaques occasionally ran across our roof and balcony — the kids were thrilled. We went on several treks with guides from this accommodation, and all of them were amazing. We saw 12 orangutans of all sizes, macaques, Thomas leaf monkeys, turtles, and even hornbills. For those interested in more unusual animals, I highly recommend the evening snake walk — it was simply incredible. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We’re glad we chose Obiwan’s Indra Valley Inn for our stay in Bukit Lawang.
