We stayed at CGH Earth Wild Walk in December with my parents, and it was a deeply memorable experience. What stayed with us most was not just the setting, but the people who gave the place its soul. From the start, it felt like a home away from home. Set within a coffee plantation and surrounded by forest, the property naturally slows you down. Afternoons were spent reading in the sun or quietly watching the forest come alive, almost like an ever-changing TV show. The rooms reflected understated elegance and were consistently well cared for. Sushir ensured everything was clean and spotless throughout our stay. The food, freshly prepared by Abishek and Akash, was comforting and full of flavour, very much like home cooking, my mum even took back a few recipes. Meals became moments to look forward to thanks to Satyaban, who served with such warmth and ease. My dad especially enjoyed practicing his Bengali with him, which added a lovely personal touch. Sharath, the naturalist and villa manager ran the place with quiet clarity and care. He took time to sit with the guests, share the most fascinating stories, and engage in unhurried, authentic conversations. He had deep knowledge of the surroundings, spending time with him felt educational and left you feel more connected the natural world around us. Prasad, also part of the villa management team, was always on the ball; proactive, super friendly, and consistently there to make sure everything ran smoothly. And a special mention to Motti Amma, who tended the grounds and brought fresh flowers each day; small gestures that meant a lot. The beauty of the forest paired with such thoughtful care made us feel truly looked after throughout. This stay reaffirmed the joy of choosing intimate, thoughtfully run spaces, and we’ll certainly be visiting another CGH Earth property again.

I recently stayed at a delightful homestay in Coorg for 2 nights, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The host was absolutely wonderful; he was pleasant to talk to, always ready to help, and went above and beyond to make our stay peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable. His warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home. The breakfast served was excellent, tasting just like home-cooked food. The Idli and Sambar were particularly noteworthy; they were so delicious that I might book the homestay again just for them! The cottage is situated in a perfect spot, it was quiet yet very close to the main market. This convenient location made it easy for us to visit any place in the area without any hassle. We loved being able to explore Coorg while having a peaceful place to return to. The cottage itself was very clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a peaceful stay. It was a cozy and comfortable space that provided us with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Everything mentioned on the property listing while booking the homestay was provided. Overall, I personally recommend Moonglade Cottage for short and long stays. It provides comfort, convenience, and authentic hospitality.

A very nice place in midst of no where, green green and green, cottages surrounded by lush coffee, arecanut and pepper plants, also surrounded by a small stream. A very nice place for nature lovers.

Coorg HomeStay Resort si trova a Kushalnagar, nella regione Karnataka, a 29 km da Madikeri Fort. The hospitality was very nice we loved the Homestay property manager jeevan was very humble, food was very tasty with juice,and not so expensive also we would like to visit again to this homestay.

It is exactly the same as looks in pic. entire Bungalow was available to us, with fully operational kitchen, dining area, properly placed crockeries. superb morning....fog all around in the coffee farm. noone around but still you feel safe . We were served coffee and a delicious breakfast right on time.

The rooms, the bed lamp that glows even when the room is completely dark. The food, the staff the property everything was so nice about the place. It's in the middle of a small coffee estate, very green. Rooms look nice. Mohan the caretaker took great care of us and the chicken curry we had here was tastier than all the eateries we tried in Madikeri.
