Elisabeth is an amazing host. Greeting us with warmth and kindness, making us feel at home right away. She prepared a wonderfully delicious home cooked meal for dinner, the best we had in Iceland. And also breakfast was fantastic, everything homemade. Her attention to detail is remarkable. We wished we could have stayed longer.

It actually consisted of one room with a double bed and another with a twin, great for privacy. The kitchen was very well appointed with modern and very clean appliances and utensils. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our needs.

The apartment was very spacious, with the kitchen, dining, and living room connected in one large open area. There were two comfortable bedrooms and a rather small bathroom (compared to the rest of the apartment). The kitchen was fully equipped (cleaning sponges provided), and we had everything we needed to prepare simple dinner and breakfast. The Nespresso machine made good coffee, and the large dining table was a great bonus. The decor is quite unique – a mix of modern elements in a traditional building – which we really liked. Plenty of towels and toiletries were provided. The area is very quiet, and there was a free parking space right in front of the building. It’s not in the town center, but easily reachable on foot. The owners sent us all the necessary information about our stay and responded quickly to additional questions, including those about the Wi-Fi connection. We would definitely book again – it was a lovely stay.
