We had reserved rooms with "mountain view", but the rooms were actually on the backside of the building with views of the valley rather than Etna. After much discussion, we were able to pay an extra 20 Euro per room to move to suites with Etna view. The only rooms with Etna view are the three suites with jacuzzi baths, all on the ground floor. The pool is nice, but really doesn't have much of a view as there is a large building next door.blocking the view. The suites were very modern with comfortable beds.

We were able to use the facilities of Metropole Hotel which were amazing ( free breakfast on the balcony with the most amazing view , pool). Staff were beyond amazing and helpful. We loved everything about our stay. I would 100% recommend it and would come back here if ever I come back to Taormina.

Catania parking is just 10 min drive from accomoditation.

A recently renovated property, Taormina charming rooms is situated in Taormina near Taormina Cable Car - Upper Station, Taormina Cathedral. It is located 2.2 km from Villagonia Beach and features luggage storage space. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. The room was very nice and clean. Nando was the best host you could ever imagine. He took care of us as if we were his own. Thank you for this experience, I would love to come back sometime...

We enjoyed our fantastic breakfast under the lemon tree with lots of different local treats. Our host even got us some tickets for the annual film festival in the amphitheater for free.
