A special thanks to Kobayashi, the owner, who took us to the Gora station and gave us great advice regarding luggage transportation,, which enabled us to have more time during our short stay in Hakone.

Situated 8.5 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Irori Guest House Tenmaku offers 1-star accommodation in Hakone and has a bar. Very unique and lovely experience. Rooms were spacious, comfortable beds and super friendly staff. If you stay there make sure to book the shared dinner, I really enjoyed it.

Literally right next to the train station, so convenient. The host was exceptional, so kind, brought the people in the hostel together, had great advice for things to do and see.

Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. I love the vibe of this place. It’s very friendly. The owner clearly likes people and he is very helpful. Everything is well planned and explained. You can get hot and cold water, or buy some food from the freezer and cook it using available microwaves. There is selection of cold drinks you can buy as well. You can get a yukata and some travel items for free (ear plugs, razors etc). Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice coffee and fresh bread in the morning. I used private bath and it was a very nice experience. If you are traveling with child you will feel comfortable here as well. I would highly recommend this place to other travelers.

Kamakura no Nikki is located in Kamakura, 500 metres from Yuigahama Beach, 2.3 km from Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, as well as 22 km from Sankeien. 200 metres from Yuigahama Beach, Japanese Modern Inn Kamakura Rakuan Hanare---3min walk from Hase Station is situated in Kamakura and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The room was very big and comfortable and the food and the breakfast were delicious!

Hiljuti renoveeritud majutusasutus COZY Inn Free Shuttle service asub Nikkos, Tobu Nikko jaamast 12 km ja Nikko Toshogu pühamust 14 km kaugusel. Hiro is amazing, and we loved Marie the assistant! I can not recommend a stay at cozy inn enough. We loved our stay.

7.7 km from Nikko Station, Guesthouse Imaichi ゲストハウス今市マチナカ is a recently renovated property set in Nikko and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Super great host!! He was so nice. The accommodation has everything and I felt very welcomed. It is a 10 min walk from the Imaichi train stations. The private room is extremely comfortable and in Japanese style. The dorms were also great but not so comfortable because moving in your bed affects the other 3 people in the dorm. The 4 beds are part of one single structure, similar to a capsule dorm.
