Best place I have stayed in in Japan so far! It has a super cool vibe with a cozy working space filled with personal touches, perfect for relaxing or catching up on any work. It was designed by the owner and you can see the personal care behind it. Bunks in dorms are clean, spacious and super cozy with the wooden aesthetic. The staff was so welcoming and generous, it was great to be able to meet them as a solo traveller and made it feel like I was staying with friends. Walking distance to train station and large supermarket only 10 mins away. I wish I could have stayed longer and I will come back here if I come back to Shikoku.

Situato a Otoyocho, a 50 km da Stazione di Kōchi, Guesthouse boro-ya prevede un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una terrazza. The house is beautifully nestled in the woods, the scenery (even from the bathroom!) is amazing! There's a lot of space and the rooms are comfortable and cozy, the hosts are great and super helpful, and will give you amazing advices to explore the surroundings. Do yourself a favour, avoid the super touristy hotels of the area and stay here!

EkimaehouseSamaru è ubicato a Shimanto-cho, a 35 km da Ichijo Shrine e 35 km da Tamematsu Park. Exceptional in every sense! I loved my stay. The host is the nicest owner you could ever meet, so friendly, so willing to help and a good linguist too. I cannot thank him enough for the kind welcome and advice on where to cycle next. The house is much bigger than the photos show with really cool lounging about spaces all over! Much love and care has gone into making the place feel fun and comfortable. Stay as many nights as you can! The local restaurants are excellent and there’s a local supermarket and plenty of sake!

Simpatica, gentilissima e sempre disponibile, un grande aiuto per i pellegrini di Shikoku. Ci ha aiutato a pianificare i giorni successivi, prenotando per noi e assicurandosi che tutto fosse ok. Cena e colazione buonissima e abbondante. Super consigliato

Lovely hosts who made the guesthouse so warm and cosy. Really special place to experience Kochi hospitality!

Situato a Mimase, a 30 km da Daizen-ji Temple, guesthouse ONAKA prevede il WiFi gratuito e il parcheggio privato gratuito. The owner was very friendly and very kind. Although food was not listed as being included he fed us anyway. Also helped us with planning next stages of our trip.
