The host was was thoughtful and when she noticed my young child was not eating much of the food, she prepared another sandwich for her. She also made an effort to share the stories behind some of the figurines she gave the kids using the translator. We had a great time!

It was so clean, neat and peaceful. We enjoyed the private onsen and beautiful views of Yufuin mountains. During our stay, there were two more groups staying in the house so we took turns using the onsen. The staff member who picked us up from the JR station was very friendly, polite and thoughtful. The host is hospitable, attentive and detail-oriented. He puts in a lot of efforts to keep this place welcoming and comfortable. I would highly recommend it!

La Pension Yufuin è orgogliosa di una sorgente termale pubblica all'aperto con grandi rocce, uniche in Oita. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel was also really nice and we loved the hot springs. Both the public and family baths were super nice. I highly recommend staying here.

We loved this apartment! Everything is brand new, the beds are comfortable, there is a table with chairs to eat or work, comfortable bathroom with hot shower (and bath) and a great balcony. It was very quiet and just a short walk from the station. Highly recommend staying here!

AC worked. And facilities were clean. There’s also a washing machine tho I didn’t use it since it was my first day of traveling. Very large apt which was more than I needed. But price was excellent.

250 metres from Beppu Tower, BEPPU HOSTEL U&T is set in Beppu and features a garden and a terrace. The property is close to Beppu Park, B-Con Plaza and Beppu Art Museum. Alloggio molto curato con la possibilità di scegliere la stanza tradizionale giapponese. Una bellissima esperienza, camera spaziosa con tutti i confort possibili: dal frigorifero, bollitore, bagno e doccia spaziosi, oltre gli essenziali. Le bibite come caffè e succo sono gratuite nella hall oltre alla cucina condivisa e i videogiochi tra i grandi classici. Esperienza fantastica e torneremmo subito vista la centralitá dell'alloggio (molti onsen nelle vicinanze) e la disponibilità di parcheggio!

Situata a Beppu, nella regione di Oita, la Guesthouse Sunline Beppu si trova a 300 m dalla Torre di Beppu. Wish we could have stayed here longer. Staff were SUPER helpful with us (we had a night booked here, then a night at a fancy ryokan, and then a third night back here) - they let us leave our big suitcases over the night we were away. The onsen facilities were amazing, though we found the private onsen was less hot than the gendered ones (probably the people before us added a bunch of cold??) and yes, no issues with tattoos (which is true for most of beppu). big bonus is the huge kitchen lounge available for guests and the front end cafe where you can buy cookies, VEGAN ICECREAM (sweet potato!) beers, drinks, etc.
