He speaks zero english but that does not stop him :D We have communicated via google translate - and we communicated a lot :D He was very friendly and actually attentive to our requests - we mistakenly booked a wrong room and he agreed to change it free of charge, also he told us many good palces to visit around the island. Do not hesitate to ask him anything.

It’s a lovely little place in a great location. Everything is in walking distance. The place is really small and can house max 4 males and 4 females. It creates a more cozy atmosphere. Each bunk has a tiny space to store your luggage with doors and curtains around each bunk. You don’t have to climb up and down to get access to your luggage. The owner is very nice and helpful and speaks good English even though the name of the place might not suggest it. 100% recommend and will stay again.

I had the luck to be there to celebrate my birthday during one of the evening get-together parties in the living room. The accommodation is very comfortable, with the proper heating/AC needed for the changing weather at the island, the futons were comfy, and the blankets really cozy. The bathroom and shower were super clean and functional, with a clean towel for every night at the stay and elegantly decorated. The common area, living room with kitchen, is fully equipped, with comfortable decoration, and the most beautiful view to the sea. The location is great as well, as there is a beach close by and a delicious café near the hotel. I can only recommend this place wholeheartedly. The hosts are really friendly, easy going and will help in case of any questions.

My stay at Max's (and Happy's 🐈) place has been awesome. He showed me some hidden places of the island with his mini van and I hanged out also with his friends. Clean and well appointed. Very cozy space! Excellent location. I was able to hang out in the common area after checking out as my flight did not leave until the evening which I appreciated. Also did a snorkeling trip with the host's company which was great. :) Overall excellent value.
