We only spent one night but found this to be the best value option in Kofu. Self check in was a multi step process as some of the reviews say buy it's ok if you follow the instructions in the right order. Have fun with it!

Love the place. It was quiet and cozy. The surrounding was beautiful with all the autumn trees. You can see Fuji San from the cafe in the hotel.

Fuji from the property was breathtaking—waking up to it every day was a highlight of my trip. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed to feel at home. The owner went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience, always willing to help with any questions or recommendations. Highly recommended for a peaceful and memorable stay!

From the moment you arrive, the warmth of the owners envelops you, as they pour their heart and soul into ensuring your experience is nothing short of extraordinary. Even when I took the wrong bus from Fuji station, a simple call to the hosts, resulted in them going the extra mile to pick me from a location nearly 30 minutes away. Their hospitality truly knows no bounds. In a region where it is hard to find vegetarian meals, it was a delight to have a four course vegetarian dinner all made from organic ingredients. The buckwheat galette served at breakfast was mouth watering and I wish i could replicate it in my own kitchen. If you're considering a stay here, make sure to include dinner and breakfast in your booking; trust me, you won't regret it. For those seeking a haven of relaxation and unparalleled hospitality, Vegetarian Jamoo is the place for you. I got the best views of Mt Fuji from lake Yamanakako.

Mr. Watanabe is an amazing host, he takes really good care of guests, gives very good advice about things to do, places to visit and restaurants to try around kawaguchiko lake. The room is very big, has got everything you need and a very nice view on mount Fuji. Also, the bath he prepares for the guests is the best thing ever after a long hike. Highly recommended!!

The host is amazing; extremely friendly and will try to accommodate all your needs. He picked us up from Kawaguchiko station and served us hot green tea. The view from the room was amazing as well.

This was the nicest stay among many other places I’ve been to this summer in Japan. The guesthouse is super clean, bright and cozy. Above all, the host is such a kind and caring person, I’ve felt like at home 💗☀️

Very good location for exploring the Fujisan area. From the hostel, you can walk to the top of Mount Fuji in the right season! Excellent service and facilities we're cleaning and cozy. The hosts we're very welcoming, kind and helpful. They made the experience even better than expected.
