We loved staying at Jua House which is in a very good location in Shela. Breakfast was served on the very nice rooftop terrace and was delicious. The staff is very professional and organised. Airport pick up and drop-off was smooth.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Banana House and Wellness Centre is located in Shela village, Lamu 2.7 km from Gallery Baraka. The property is set 2.8 km from Lamu Fort. The place is amazing, and the service is even better. They take great care of you and stay attentive in case you need anything throughout your stay. Special mention to Olivers, Michael, and Jackie :) I’m definitely coming back!

Location right on the water, Swahili decor, great staff and wonderful food. I have come here 5+ times! And I will be back!

Shela Bliss se encuentra a 4 min a pie de Manda Beach y ofrece alojamiento con salón de uso común, terraza y cocina compartida. It was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had. The house is a traditional Swahili house, with a beautiful terrace and views, a tastefully decorated interior with all the necessary amenities and a well stacked kitchen, which is always a plus with kids. Our host Abadalla is quite simply the best host I’ve ever had - and we travel quite a bit. He was kind, thoughtful and basically carefully planned our entire stay, coordinating tours, recommending awesome local spots and day activities along the way. He took take of it all, from airport pick up, to sunset Dhow, to Lamu tour, he negotiated the prices and made the trip ultra smooth. He also served us beautiful breakfast every morning, with a large variety of fruits, Swahili pastries, omelettes, etc. He also stocked the fridge and made sure we always had drinking water for a very reasonable fee. The nicest and warmest guy, who also shared many special moments with us, and shared stories and history of Lamu as well. We would highly recommend Shela Bliss to anyone. An outstanding experience!

Ras Kitao Holiday Villa tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y terraza en Lamu. Our vacation was fantastic! The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the accommodations were very comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Mangrove House se encuentra en Lamu y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, zona de playa privada y terraza frente a la playa, a pocos pasos de Manda Beach. The locations is a gem. Away from the HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF LAMU. There is a great restaurant next door With delicious food and you can always pop over to Sheila (5 min boat ride) for some activity if you feel too quiet on the island 🏝️ 👍

Samaki House, que cuenta con jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Lamu, a 2 min a pie de 18th Century Swahili House Museum y a 300 metros de Lamu Museum. Katana my host at Samaki House was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable of the area. We had lovely conversations and he made a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed the room and the my overall experience at the house, I will definitely stay again!

Amu House, que cuenta con jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis, se encuentra en Lamu, a 1 min a pie de Lamu Fort y a 200 metros de Lamu Museum. The service of organising our special guide for a tour through town. And the best boat tour with the captain who is passionate about sailing the traditional Dow boats. The beautiful .traditional house, the rooftop with wind from the sea, the breakfast, the friendly staff.

El Sabrina's Whitehouse, situado a solo 10 metros de la playa de Lamu, alberga un restaurante y un porche en la azotea con vistas panorámicas al océano Índico. Everything about being in Shella countless times, is my peace. Ambience, Ben was available to assist with anything needed, good hospitality. And not to mention how accessible it was, you will find everything you need within that space from shops to hotels , beach view and sunrise.
