The house is also very clean and spacious. The caretaker, Sadi (I hope I spelled the name correctly), is a super nice guy and always ready to help. He makes staying here even more special. Overall, I would highly recommend to stay here. It is also possible to organize a safari trip. The price seems fair, and the driver will pick you up directly from the house. I was very satisfied with how well it was organized.

They booked a safari in Wilpattu only 1.5 days before our arrival and everything was very well organised. The safari itself was much better than expected: we had the luck to see 4 leopards, a sloth bear and 4 golden jackals, on top of many beautiful birds and reptiles. The resort provided breakfast and lunch to take on the safari, as well as snacks and drinks. Everything was very tasty and plenty. Also breakfast and dinners were very tasty and more than we could eat. All in all, we had a very good stay. Thanks so much!!!!

The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning and a lovely view of the garden. What really made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality. Kalhara and his wife are truly amazing people – always available, always smiling, and genuinely eager to help with anything. They even arranged a massage and a delicious homemade dinner for us, which we enjoyed under the stars. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine made with love. Every detail was taken care of, and we felt more like guests in a family home than in a hotel. We can’t thank our hosts enough for such a beautiful experience. If you’re visiting Habarana and Hurulu eco park, don’t miss the chance to stay here – it’s a hidden gem filled with warmth, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

We came here for 3 nights after reading all these wonderful reviews. I have travelled a lot of places, but never ever have I actually thought of coming back to a place I have been already. That was until I stayed in Visu Villa. I was very sad to leave, because everything was just perfect. Ruwan and his team did everything they could to make our stay so perfect and always with a smile on their face. We felt very welcome, had a great room, the pool was nice and clean. The food was incredible, the evenings with a nice atmosphere. We also got a private safari where we spotted many elephants for a fair price and a tour around the village and even a lift to our next destination. Free of charge. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

They are located right off of Kubichchankulama Lake with a walking path around the lake. The Hosts were very hospitable and gracious. The room was spacious and clean - good AC!
