Gihan and his wife truly care for all of their guests, looking after their wellbeing and also allowing for independence and privacy. It felt to nice to be well cared for, especially when traveling alone. Gihan can help arrange tours and activities and will take you himself in his Tuk Tuk when available. They have bikes for hire and I enjoyed riding all around Anuradhapura a couple of times. Their food is amazing! In the past they owned a restaurant and it shows. A huge variety and the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I am gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating to my diet. You can tell they care a lot about their business, investing in it and caring for their clients. Extend your stay, you won’t regret it. There’s much to see In Anuradhapura and you’ll not want to leave Corner Cottage.

The photos truly don’t do justice to the beauty and comfort of the room – it far exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The owner and the entire team were incredibly warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my trip was unforgettable. They organized an amazing safari for me, making the experience completely hassle-free. The location is perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting that feels like a true escape into nature. The Sri Lankan food served here was exceptional – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. This is an ideal place for anyone visiting Wilpattu National Park. Highly recommended for the location, hospitality, and overall experience!

Tasuta jalgrataste ja aiavaatega Wilpattu Mookalan Resort asub Habawewas, 38 km kaugusel Kumbichchan Kulama Tankist ja 39 km kaugusel Jaya Sri Maha Bodhist. We had an amazing experience in Wikpattu Mooklan Resort! The owner and his son were taking care of us all the time and organized a great safari! It was a full day trip at a very affordable price, We managed to see 3 leopards, bear, elefant, crocodiles, tones of deers, and many, many other species of mammals, reptiles and birds. At night we could hear a lot of animals and it was an extremely peaceful time. The food was delicious and made with love. Absolutely recommended place!

Swan Lake Habarana asub Pidurangala kaljult 12 km kaugusel ning pakub konditsioneeriga majutust koos terrassiga. Kohapeal on restoran, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Kalhara is the perfect host , highly attentive and thoughtful about every small detail. The rooms are spacious, with a minimal aesthetic, well maintained and super clean. Every meal was a lovely home cooked spread, accommodating certain dietary restrictions . One of the best stay experiences I had during my two week trip in Srilanka.

Hotell Sapphire Garden asub Habaranas, Pidurangala kaljult vaid 13 km kaugusel. Hotellil on aed, grillimisvahendid ja terve päeva valve. Kohapeal on restoran, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The owners, Leo and Wanda, couldn’t do enough to help our stay go smoothly. They helped shape are itinerary and suggestions additions that were fantastic, eg Sri Lankan dance show at the cultural centre, organising a fabulous yoga teacher, as well as great safari. Relaxed and happy vibe to the place with lovely pool area.

Hotell VISU VILLA asub Habaranas. Kohapeal on vaatega bassein, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Basseinivaatega majutusasutus on Pidurangala kaljust 10 km ja Sigiriya kaljult 11 km kaugusel. What a place! We had the best time at Visu Villa. If you would like the planning hassle taken out of your trip for a few days, hand yourselves over to Ruwan and the team at Visu Villa. We stayed for three nights at this lovely family run oasis tucked away about a km out of Habarana. Ruwan and his sister Kawshalya made us feel so welcome and Ruwan seamlessly planned and executed the next three days for us. His attention to detail was amazing. We met the team one by one and their service was just great including jeep driver Irosh and tuk tuk driver Anthony. There is a bar, a lovely pool, home cooked food by Tharidu, great people and nice comfy rooms. If you are a fiercely independent traveller who wants to control every minute and rupee this is perhaps not the place for you. The joy of Visu Villa is trusting in Ruwan and his very fair pricing, eating the recommended food, going to the recommended places, being taken care of, having fun with the team and enjoying Sri Lankan hospitality at it's best. Thanks Ruwan and team for a truly memorable three days.

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

Blooming Holiday Resort asub Anuradhapuras, vaid 4 km kaugusel Anuradhapura raudteejaamast. Kohapeal on välibassein, aed ja täispäevane valve. Excellent hospitality provided. Good and clean rooms. The breakfast provided was awesome and in more than sufficient quantities. All of us enjoyed our stay. The hosts were friendly and very welcoming. We were greeted with a welcome drink. Would surely recommend to family and friends.

Sunhill Lake Tourist Rest asub Anuradhapura kesklinnas. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus, aed ja tasuta eraparkla. Konditsioneeriga majutusasutus on Kumbichchan Kulama Tankist 700 meetri kaugusel. The owner was amazing, he gave me some great tips about the old town, how to get there and what to see, his wife was also very sweet and helped me with anything I asked. The location is also great, close to the shops and restaurants, but situated in the lake where you can watch hundreds of birds really close.

Rock Villa Relax City Home and BNB asub 200 meetri kaugusel Mihintale linnast. Selle hommikusöögiga majutusasutuse igas toas ei ole konditsioneeri ja istumisnurk, kus pärast tegusat päeva lõõgastuda. It was our best accommodation in 4 weeks in Sri Lanka! We stayed in a separated little cottage, was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, it's situated upon the little rock,so you feel the air, and it was not humid, nice garden and absolutely delicious breakfast ( you can order what you wish) and evening meals at a cosy terrace!! And of course wonderful friendly personal, very helpful and sweet! Also important for travellers- free of charge water bottles and !! making your laundry!! Super recommended!!! PS : you can rent the bikes to go to the temples and around the lakes,with we did and liked it so much!
