The room (with AC) and its bathroom was very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony on the river too. The family offers the possibility to have luch/dinner at their place for convenient prices. Sunethra, the woman who keeps the house is very friendly and she takes care of everything you need! Through the homestay we had the opportunity to book the Safari at Yala, they offer an half or full day experience and in the price are included the entrance ticket, the jeep and a lunch box. You don’t have to stress about anything. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Thank you Chami and Dalu for another wonderful time (3rd time) at your place! We will for sure come back again a fourth time!! It is not possible to describe how special this place is and we highly recommend everyone to come here and experience it yourself. Heaven in Satinwoods is our favorite place in Sri Lanka and also the food here is just the best that you can get. So if you come to this place, you should definitely try the rice and curry. From the first second we arrived at this place, we felt like staying in paradise. We were welcomed with a fresh juice, some wet towels to refresh our faces and a flower necklace. The rooms are very spacious, there is an A/C in every apartment and it is very clean. Also you have drinking water in the room, so you don’t need to buy water. You can just bring empty water bottles and reuse them, which is really great. Also this place has a wonderful garden with many beautiful trees, plants and flowers and you can watch many different animals like giant squirrels and really beautiful birds! Mr Don the owner is a very good person. He was very interested to make our stay great. He was always online since I did the booking and till the end. Helped a lot with all our request. Despite the facility is very simple, this money definitely worth that we got. Great location, a nice wild beach nearby, many place to go to eat. I like the place.
