Situated near Kandy Museum and Sri Dalada Maligawa, Terrace Kandy is in Kandy and features free private parking and a restaurant. The room was super clean, with large and very comfortable beds. The bathroom was excellent, with its own shower tray and glass screen – not the typical Sri Lankan style where the whole floor gets wet. This made it much more comfortable for us as Europeans. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The only small point is that to reach the city center you need to take a tuk-tuk, but that was not a problem for us.

We had a great sleep. The owner was very nice. They have a breakfast and dinner menu if you need. They accommodated all our needs. It's a very good value for money.

The owner was friendly and kind, and told me everything I needed to know about the trip. The common areas were also very clean, and I was able to do laundry for free, and it was very helpful to be able to hang my laundry on the rooftop. If you're in Kandy, please stay here.

The breakfast was great, rooms has a pleasant atmosphere. There is a got shower and super new, clean swimming pool! Noce viewe over the lagoon. The owner was so lovely and very supportive. Helped us when we needed to get to ATM and order a transport to the airport. Highly reccomend!

Hosts made us feel very welcome and at home, we spent quite some time together. The food was delicious, we stayed also for dinner two nights. The property is a little out of center, on a hill, which turned up to be good as the main streets and center are quite dusty and loud. Here is more quiet, but still at the reach. Very well equipped and spacious room.

You may expect such details somewhere in hostels of Amsterdam or Bruxelles. And all this unusual stuff was created by owner's hands! Great giant bed, super cozy carpet, foldable table, nice bathroom with hot water and authentic materials. And a lot of green plants everywhere. The owner was super friendly and helpful.
