Wonderful Kasbah, located on an elevation with great views of the Atlas and the surrounding landscape, built and decorated in the original style and design with all modern amenities and comfort. But the best part are the people who work there. Always friendly, always helpful and even though they work in the tourist sector they make you never feel like only a tourist but as a guest of their house.

This guest house is located in the old village of Ait-Ben-Haddou, a sand fortress 30 km from Ouarzazate. You can relax on the furnished terraces, where the hosts will welcome you with mint tea and Moroccan pastries.

All of the rooms at Kasbah El Hajja are decorated in traditional, Berber style. Each room features a private bathroom with a shower. The property solely relies on solar energy for lighting. It’s such a great location. You’re literally situated next to the staircase that would take you all the way to the highest point at Ait Ben Haddou for the perfect sunset view. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They told us how to get to the sunset view and sunrise view. There are also shops on the way. It really helps the locals there if you buy something local so we did just that. It was a very memorable stay and the Kasbah was perfect to explore the culture.

Hôtel Riad Dar Daïf is located 5 km from the centre of Ouarzazate and has views on the Atlas Mountains and the lake. Its furnished patio overlooks the outdoor swimming pool.

Private parking is also available and free of charge. I must say that this was the best hotel of our trip to Morocco. We were treated like kings and queens. There was heating in the room (pretty rare in Morocco), the wifi was working, the food was absolutely delicious and really good value for money. Best meal and breakfast of our stay. They gave us tips about the area (for free which is rare) and they never tried to sell us garbage we don't need. They even gave us some pastries when we left. They made our stay perfect. Amazing staff. The room was also spotless and really comfortable. Thank you for this great experience.

It was an amazing stay. The structure is simple but gorgeous, with a nice internal garden with vegetables and fruits. The hosts are a group of young, local people with an amazing project: sharing local culture and transmitting local values. This has made our stay warm and authentic. They prepared for us an amazing dinner, cooked on the spot, with fresh vegetables picked from the garden. We enjoyed the dinner in front of the fireplace. It was incredible. We highly recommend and encourage this authentic experience!
