You stay in a room in the host's house. The house, the room and the terrace were beautifully furnished. The family and their dog were very lovely and we were glad that we could easily communicate in English. It was a familiar atmosphere and we felt very welcome. From the terrace where you have breakfast, you have a wonderful view of the bay of Le Robert. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

The location was fantastic, up a short steep climb to give a view of the bay, particularly good view from the lovely pool. Fairy lights lit up the pool area at night and there were chairs for sitting outside. Our room was charming with enough space around the double bed and a good sized bathroom with a very big shower. We opted for a home-made dinner one evening which was absolutely delicious (guacamole appetiser, soup, chicken Columbo and chocolate and lime mousse ) and with good company from fellow guests. Breakfasts were also delicious and thoughtfully prepared and included fresh fruit, fresh mixed juice, pastries, bread and a choice of egg. On reflection we think that the food here was better than most of the food we had in restaurants in both Martinique and Guadeloupe. Tea and coffee was available throughout the day and a fridge supplied in the common area for guests to keep food in if needed (understandably no food allowed in the rooms). Stephanie was a delightful host and managed to combine her family (in a separate part of the house), her 2 cats and her guests with a wonderful balance. Stephanie also speaks very good English.

Back story:I travel alot, caribbean, central and south America both on a corporate ticket and my small business ticket. I was island hopping and got an overnight in Guadeloupe last minute. Late arrival early departure. A quick check online found a location close to the airport. Madame Marie Claire collected me from the airport by the time I got a sandwich at the arrival hall after apping her post immigration. She took me to her residence where I cleaned up, relaxed with her internet on her balcony and then I slept like a baby. The most impossibly clean property on earth. Period. Madam Marie Claire was a wonderful host in an absolutely insanely clean home. The next morning she delivered me to the airport at 07:00. Clean and fresh. I was traveling privately but I will promise you, if I was hopping on a corporate ticket I would still stay here. It's beyond clean and incredibly convenient. If you are hopping, stop scrolling. This is your solution.

The room had cosy lighting, poasibility to open and close the facilities ccthere small fresh soep in the bathroom. A very comfortable bed and beach towels/blankets. All very handy. The view was really nice, realized to late that we should have taken a evening /morning walk to view the bay . overall super happy

Friendly and efficient hostess, with quick responses to any requests or questions. The bed and furniture were very comfortable, with a handy fridge and microwave. Terrific views from the property which was clearly marked by a sign on the main road. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and we had large pool all to ourselves. Easy driving distance to the Botanical Garden, the village of Deshaies, and the beautiful nearby beaches.
