Our room wasn't yet ready when we arrived, but we were given the code to access the property's lobby and were able to leave our bags. The location was great for our purposes: about a block and a half to a major bus stop, less than a five minute walk to many bars and restaurants, and less than ten minutes walk to the main square. (We were not there for the beach.) We were also able to leave our bags in a secure location after check-out, so that we could go to one last museum in the morning before leaving Mellieha. Our room (Paradise Bay) was spacious, with all the necessary amenities, robes, a fridge, and nice supplies to make coffee or tea. We took advantage of the jacuzzi tub, relaxing after walking on the hills of town all day. Breakfast was at a cute café/shop a block and a half away and included coffee, juice or a smoothie, a pastry, a hot savory sandwich or pie, and water. The staff there was great. The neighborhood is quiet, with mostly older people as neighbors, and we heard no noise in the night from the street (which is small and one way).

For the breakfast alone I would give this review an 11/10 or 12/10. The experience was breathtaking. You get a choice between 3 breakfasts: English, Continental, and Omelette. The host does an amazing job preparing the entire breakfast, along with the delicious fruit salad with exotic fruits. The breakfast experience is on a rooftop with a magnificent view of Marsaxlokk. It's certainly a memorable breakfast! Otherwise, the location is great, you're right next to the town market. It's not that far to hike to the nearby fort to the south or to the famous beaches to the east. The room is quite clean, modern, with a nice, warm shower. You don't get a key, just an access code that works on the front door and room door, which is convenient. The A/C and the wifi were also working fine.

The hotel is located in the city center, where it's good for me to take a rest after visiting one place after another. The million-dollar view of the Three Cities can be seen from their rooftop. All staff are super friendly and helpful. Wifi works well. There are quite a variety of choices with their breakfast. I still enjoy their breakfast so much after staying for 3 days.

We loved our stay at Il Bekka Suites. The location was perfect near great restaurants and bars and close to Mdina. The house itself was fabulous lovely decor, very clean. Our room was perfect, bed was comfortable, had a great shower and the breakfast the next morning was brilliant. Would definitely stay here again. Definitely one of the nicest places we stayed at in Malta

Katrine is positively lovely! She sent detailed directions to the boutique hotel and entry instructions. Breakfast was very good and fresh. I have a fatal nut and sesame allergy and Katrine prepared a separate plate for me. Thank you! The hotel is comprised of 6 new and spotless rooms set in the village of Rabat, yet a short drive to major attractions. Very delicious, reasonably priced restaurants are within walking distance. Our room overlooked a series of small farm plots. The entire area is quiet and serene. Wonderful! If you prefer quiet, yet convenient accommodation, No 33 is perfect!
