If ur not planning on renting a car, the taxi fares will be very pricey. So u defo need a car. Everything about this property was amazing and Melissa is an amazing host .

All rooms feature a balcony or terrace. a real gem of a place beautiful clean pool..breakfast was good but a little too much the same each day..the owner and staff very friendly and helpful..this place is like home with dogs cats bees and chickens..the best part for me was there was ample hot water for my must have showers

The hosts were so friendly and supportive and gave us very valuable information, such as hiring a car to make it even easier, where to park for various attractions, which places to visit... The breakfasts were outstanding - I've never stayed in a place like this before where the breakfast is completely tailored to my favourite foods, no matter what (they made delicious sauteed mixed vegetables for me and delicious fresh fruit and nuts for my husband). We slept so well in the incredibly comfortable bed. We also had an outside area where we could relax and have refreshments after a day's tour. It was like home from home meaning we could totally relax and enjoy our time there. The location is really amazing for anyone wanting to get away from crowds and noisy nightlife, and yet it is an easy drive into the busy centre of Playa del Carmen. If you want a great night's sleep, undisturbed by any outside noise, and a wonderful peaceful oasis to relax in, this is the place for you.

The place is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and in the middle of the jungle, which makes it the perfect get away retreat from all the crazyness of the touristic areas in the area. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet, the food was really good, and Pepe was a wonderful host. Although he lodge stays in the middle of the jungle, it's very easy to get there, and you only have to drive through around 500m of a dirt road which is not a problem at all.
