A fantastic stay in a beautifully decorated room with even more stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. We didn’t spend much time in the common areas, but they looked inviting and cozy. We truly wish we had stayed longer.

Lovingly decorated by the owner, with pictures from his travels in the arctic, and the lodge itself is designed with a ship’s interior in mind. Superb shared kitchen and kitchen area, and of course the view looking out to a quiet beach on Sommarøy. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at and I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Great hosts - great location - great travel advice - lovely shared bathroom - small quiet nearby beach - and a pleasant break from the main E Road route :)

We really enjoyed our stay at this accommodation. Everything was excellent. It was a little bit far from the centre but the bus ride was fast and direct. The room was a little small but more than enough for us! Fully equipped kitchen, towels and shower gel/shampoo are provided.

At Finnvikhaugen Rooms each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Great host. Great property. Felt like home. It was a great stay. Very comfortable, and the host was awesome. He started a fire for us and offered dinner. Will stay here again! Also a great spot for the northern lights. View from the rooms is perfect for viewing in the warmth and comfort.
