Quiet location close to Plaza de Armas, clean & comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. On a previous one night stay, I had posted about not being able to get change for taxi. The hotel approached me on my return stay to explain the reasons and to offer something in return. I appreciated the hotel’s efforts to explain and remedy, and although I did not take up the offer, it shows a very good attitude.

This is much more than a simple hotel stay. Michael is willing to help out new arrivals to the city with useful information and the breakfasts are unlike what you'll find elsewhere. Cusco tends to be a hub for one's travels - running into other guests that we'd made friends with during a previous stay was a very welcome surprise - everyone returned to this hotel after outings to Puno, Pisac and Aguas Calientes (MP) etc. If I could give 15 stars for the overall experience, I would.

Such a warm welcome to this beautiful place. Food we had was also excellent and the best we had on salkantay trek. Rooms were clean and comfy - great after a long day walking. Showers lovely and warm too. Owner goes above and beyond to help you. Breakfast also great and sets you up for the next day hike. The environment was also very relaxed and chilled, on the track for salkantay so you can easily carry on your walk. We also loved the animals there, super friendly and cuddly :)
