A truly amazing view of the island and motus in front, the sunrises were beautiful. Sandrine and Laurent are amazing hosts, we would have loved to have more time to enjoy the shared pool and simply the view a bit more. It is an unpaved road from the route to the house, but without luggage easily walkable (some 10 min down to the route) and the hosts take you to and from the port/airport, so you'd need a car only if you plan to move very frequently in and out of the accommodation

Loved everything about it! Alizee and Brian were the best, so sweet, and so helpful. They helped us rent our own boat. Alizee gave the most wonderful massage, and we had some food and drinks with them our first night. They made it feel like home. Can’t wait to come back

A perfect and comfortable setting on a private lagoon, very romantic. Josi is a wonderful, kind hostess. She and her staff made it very simple to rent their car for hire and kayak. We would love to come back.

Staying with Anouk was one of the highlights of my Raiatea trip. She is so sweet and I had a fabulous time chatting with her in my (broken) French. She’ll make you feel right at home! Her place is also in a great little spot on the island - convenient with a great nearby sunset but not in the main port. Stay with Anouk!

Really calm, ideal holiday home ín rural Raiatea, with a heartfelt welcome from Manu, our host. Happy to chitchat, gives good tour advices. Complete hut, full with all you need (coffee, cocoa, equipped kitchen), all tastefully decorated, amidst a fruit&flower garden. Manu is very knowledgeable ín horticulture and is enthusiastic about replanting authentic fruits& flowers. Sea just accross the perimeter road, 10m. Different kayaks available inhouse, also snorkel gear if wished. Paddle 15mins to opposite islet (motu) within the coral reef and snorkel from there! Utoroa airport 20mins, town is 25. Shop to the north 5km. Have a rental car, and circle the island - to the south see the belvedere point and the nearby gabbro rocks. Do not miss the botanical garden either. One of our best spent island holidays.
