Large room decorated beautifully with a lovely view from the balcony. The host was very gracious and offered a delicious chicken soup and bread. The son served cappuccino and ordered a pizza for us but wouldn't allow us to pay for it, which was above and beyond.

Located within a reasonable distance (max 30-40min drive) from the activities of interest of this area (ski resorts, historical wooden churches, mountain peaks, trekking trails, waterfalls etc.) it's worth booking your stay here while exploring the region. The real assets of this accommodation are the hosts, who are very quick/prompt to attend to almost any type of issue. On top of that, they master the art of hosting by genuinely knowing how to make you feel welcomed as a friend and not just as a guest. In addition, the food is mouth-watering with a comprehensive selection of traditional ingredients from within the village. The rooms are sparkling clean, with a nice view from the balcony, furnished elegantly and of high quality, offering a cosy blend of traditional elements which engulfs that warm atmosphere sought after by many. As a bonus, the rooms are well-soundproofed. The room's minibar fridge is well stocked and the freebie shots (downstairs) of locally sourced brandies and other beverages are all you could ask for after a long trip. Because they consistently go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, they deserve the rating of <9.7 Exceptional>. We highly recommend this place! Thank you and keep up the good work.

Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly from the first moment we arrived. We arrive by car and had a place to park. They met us in the driveway with a welcome drink of the honrnica brandy that they brew. The last part of the road to their house is gravel, but fine for our little car. The room was very clean, and had beautiful, traditional decorations on the walls. We had a small balcony with a pleasant view. I liked that the bedroom had bedside lights for reading at night, and better ambiance. I also appreciated the extra pillows. (thank you). They had some sweet family wedding pictures in the hall way that I enjoyed looking at. Everything was homey and sweet. We chose to have breakfast and dinner for several of the days we were there, and be prepared.... it is a lot of food. Each day, Iliana (I hope I spelled it right) made a wide array of foods. For breakfast, there were eggs, variety of meats, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, two kinds of cheeses, bread, butter, jams, tea, coffee, fresh milk....My husband especially, loved the honey which was fresh and local. Dinner was huge as well, starting with amazing soup, bread, and then came the second course, and then dessert. It was evident that everything was prepared with love. We very much enjoyed our stay with this family. We loved meeting them all. Though our hosts did not speak english, their son in law, who manages the booking, does. We got along just fine, either with the help of the son-in-law, or using google translate. It was nice to meet him and his wife as well! The grandmother was also very kind, and showed us around the property. Their hospitality and warmth were the highlight of our month long trip to Romania. The village of Breb is a very special place.
