But it's the extras that really pushed the Farmhouse Inn into exceptional territory. The breakfast was fantabulous! We had what they called a "fritata" (I thought they had to have potatoes baked with the eggs, but here, eggs on the side). Super tasty. A really nice TV, not a cheap one. And a white noise machine -- a really good one. I'm a light sleeper, so I appreciated that. In fact, I ordered one because I slept the best I have in months. AND they have animals: peafowl, chickens, horses, a wild-looking goat, a friendly and fuzzy white dog. AND there are nature trails for you to walk about on the Hundred Acre Farm. This would be a great place to take kids for the weekend. Or a great getaway for a romantic weekend. But here's the kicker: we stayed there for the same price the soulless corporate hotels charge. True, it's further from downtown Madison and the highway, but this was soooooo worth the trip. I'd never heard of farmstays; I guess it's the American version of the Italian agroturismo. So glad we have places like this. Please stay there and keep these fine folks in business.

All guest rooms at Olde Town Inn feature air conditioning and a desk. Had a lovely stay at The Olde Town Inn. Our room was lovely, clean and very comfortable and the location good, but the 10 rating really goes to the overall experience we enjoyed there. We stayed for two nights at New Year, so was able to enjoy both a comedy evening and on New Years Eve itself an excellent blues band in the Fox's Lair - the basement bar of the Inn. The Fox's Lair is a really welcoming and friendly bar - in fact we felt as if we had been invited to a friends party! It has a reputation for attracting good musicians and it certainly lived up to the billing. Many basement music bars have an unkempt and grubby feel but this is certainly not the case here. The host Melinda is really nice and extremely helpful. We would definitly recommend.

It's the second time I've stayed here and it's still one of the most wonderful B&B's I've stayed at. The rooms are unique and clean, just as the breakfast area. There's always good food available, even at night. The B&B is situated in Savannah's best part: gorgeous and not crowded at all.

We absolutely loved our stay at Forsyth Park Inn. A beautiful historic inn, overlooking Forsyth Park. Our room was huge, the bed super comfortable, and the staff were incredible and were so helpful, with a great knowledge of Savannah and many spot on recommendations. My highlight was having our delicious breakfast on the patio every morning, as well as the complimentary wine & hors d'oeuvre each afternoon. It was so peaceful and relaxing overlooking the park. Such great hospitality, we can't wait to visit again one day!

Spacious private cabins are also available. It was our wedding anniversary so the room was perfect for our 1 night stay. Lovely big room and appreciated the spa bath. .So very relaxing. A great balcony with a wonderful view over Helen. An easy walk into Helen. Breakfast was amazing in the lovely dining room of the property and the cook was so welcoming and happy to help.So well catered for in every way. Snacks and drinks and bags of ice available from the kitchen up to 9pm to take away. Very peaceful and relaxing to stay. The gentleman who owns the property was just so helpful with information of things to do in and around Helen.Staff were wonderful.

This was my second stay at the Green Palm Inn and my husband's first stay. We love everything about staying here! Nicole is so welcoming, friendly, and such a great cook! Breakfast is always delicious! I love the quiet, cozy atmosphere of the inn and enjoy visiting with other guests over breakfast. I love that the inn is historical and decorated appropriately for the period. It is very clean as well. You absolutely cannot beat the location. We never moved our car after arriving for our three night stay. It is an easy 15 minute walk to the river, to Jones Street, to the Market, etc. I will always stay at the Green Palm Inn when visiting Savannah!
