The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

Kilauea House nabízí ubytování v destinaci Volcano. Kilauea je 18 km odtud a Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo 45 km. What an amazing place to stay. Everything was exceptional and exceeded expectations. Incredibly comfortable bed and they had the room heated upon our arrival from a cold afternoon of trekking through the volcano park. There were so many lovely little touches to make our stay extra comfortable such as nibbles ready on our check-in and breakfast all sorted for the morning. A very easy drive into Volcano Park. Completely recommend.

The B&B is in a fantastic location, a very quick walk into town, but with the ocean literally on your doorstep. Our beautiful room backed right on the ocean and it was wonderful going to sleep with the sounds of waves. Every morning the cooked breakfast was delicious, and we really appreciated the useful shelves in the B&B filled with snacks, useful pamphlets, bug spray and sunscreen. Our hosts were very friendly and gave fantastic recommendations on things to see and do during our stay in Hilo. We would highly recommend a stay here!

The B&B is close Hilo but in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Thanks to Lory and Stewart for the great tips and helping out with the car. We especially enjoyed the fruits from the garden and the tips for things to do :)

Lots of animals. Good ecosystem and rich vegetation. Geckos are cute; cats, chickens, cows. One specific chicken would come up to the property and lay eggs on a particular spot. Eggs look healthy and huge :D Lots of fruit trees. Owners are good people with great hospitality and nice communications. Rooms are clean, spacious, with a nice patio. beds are sooo comfortable. (The combination of sheets, comforters and mattress is something my friend and I really liked.) Weather is pleasant, view is amazing. fruits and breakfast are delicious.

Hale-Hoola B & B se nachází ve městě Captain Cook. Wi-Fi je dostupné zdarma. Všechny pokoje mají terasu a posezení. V jídelní části je mikrovlnná trouba a lednice. Breakfast was great! Patio with awesome view. Felt like paradise. Great location, but it is important that you have a car. We really enjoyed our stay!
