Both are from the 'South' and the legendary hospitality of the region shone through at all times. We were provided with a tour of Choctaw Hall and shown a vast array of unbelievable period pieces found in each room. There are up to date portraits and a fascinating family history explained.

The hotel is absolutely charming, with a wonderful mix of historic character and modern comfort. My room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and extremely comfortable — I slept better than I have in a long time. The staff truly made the experience even better. They were kind, welcoming, and offered great suggestions for dinner nearby, which turned out to be absolutely stunning in both food and atmosphere. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Jackson and soaking in the city’s rich history. Parking was simple and convenient, which made everything even easier. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Jackson!
