First of all, the location is very exclusive, and the view is stunning. You could spend your vacation there at any time of the year and you would always be guaranteed a very nice atmosphere since the room is basically absorbed by the stunning view with this bigterrace. So even in winter a must go. Also, it is very clean and very comfortable. Lastly, the owners Ray and his wife are just super friendly and very supportive hosts. I really enjoyed the restaurant recommendations and the overall atmosphere in their beautiful home. They have a deal with a restaurant at the beach which you can go to by foot and 10-15 minutes which is a very nice routine in the morning. They recommend to have a car which I had not and I didn’t regret that. It’s like an extra fun activity to go down the stairs with your swimming shorts. Have a good swim in the morning and then have breakfast for example, waffles or fish while listening to the sound of the waves and later go back up to your apartment.

If you are looking for quiet and comfortable surroundings that are still close to nature, including Penguins, the Cape and many beaches, I highly recommend Aqua Terra. Not to mention the wonderful breakfasts/brunches.

A Tuscan Villa Guest House, an exquisite Italian-style villa featuring a stunning spiral staircase and beautiful arches, is just 600 meters from Fish Hoek Beach. The villa boasts six spacious rooms, each with a private bathroom, small fridge, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi. The staff were very good and very kind to my daughter and her friend. It was very comfortable.

A Boat House has spacious, luxuriously decorated rooms in a nautical theme with soft blue-and-white tones. Each room has a private entrance, a microwave and a tea/coffee maker. All rooms have a balcony where you can enjoy amazing sea views everything was perfect and the couple of managers was very helpful and nice. We noticed that every detail was made in the room and for the breakfast for the enjoyment of the guests. It is very rare!

We saw an amazing sunrise while still in our bed and also a great for seeing the brilliant night sky (we were lucky with the weather on one day). Gillian was an amazing host and the morning breakfast prepared by her was so great! She also gave us great recommendations about things to do in and around town.
