The hub of the famous Whale Route, Hermanus provides a number of opportunities for recreation and relaxation. During your stay at the Auberge Burgundy Boutique Hotel & Spa, you can easily visit the popular local restaurants, the craft market, boutiques, art galleries and quaint shopping malls. The beach is also just 50 metres away, offering a variety of water-sports and nature tours. Great location close to the sea, we could see whales in the bay from our balcony and there were many restaurant options close by. The room was clean, spacious and lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful.

The reception, check-in, and recommendations are excellent. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional. The view of the mountains are great and it is walking distance to restaurants in the area.

From the moment we arrived, our host greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel completely at home. The apartment was stunning tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and incredibly inviting. An amazing breakfast! Generous, delicious, and beautifully served it was the perfect start to our day. Though our stay was short, it was packed with charm and hospitality. Milky Way truly shines, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Rivergate guest farm without doubt exceeded our expectations and I almost don't want to share how good it was and keep it a secret but that wouldn't be fair. The staff were very friendly and they made our stay very welcoming.We stayed in the Gardeners Cottage which sleeps 4 people and its a very spacious cottage and boasts a big outdoor area and even has a hot tub which we used a couple of times even though it was summer. We also made use of the braai facilities a couple of the nights we were there and not to mention the breakfast basket each morning that was full of fresh ingredients and we loved how everything was packaged with the care of the environment in mind. We stayed 3 nights but next time we will be staying longer to spend more time on the farm with the animals and explore more of the farm. If I could give it higher than 10/10 I would.
