We felt very welcome, nothing was too much of an effort. He knows all the great spots to go to and his tips on daytrips are fab. The room was impeccable, the bed amazing (it didn't fit into my suitcase or we would've taken it with us 😉) So glad we booked here and would recommend to anyone. And sending extra love to the lovely furry friend, Milo.

We were met by Gladys who was an amazing host. Breakfast was very good, with Gladys cooking anything you might want, whilst her sister made up our room. The room we had was very pleasant, good size and beds very comfortable.

Having traveled over the world, this has been one of the best, homely feeling have had. The manager was amazing, responsive and caring to our needs. And the staff friendly and you can see they love what they do. We asked for almond milk, and the next day they had it for us. This is just one example. If I had an option, I would rate it 12. Definitely our new spot when in CT.

Espaces communs spacieux et fonctionnel, conforme aux photos Hébergement dans un quartier très sécurisé, vous pouvez vous promener seul, meme la nuit. Commerces de proximité et restaurants à 15 min de marche, mais marche en bord de mer, parfait pour se relaxer. Un peu éloigner du centre ville, ce qui est parfait pour se reposer après une journée de visites car le quartier est très calme.

Our stay at Blaauw Village Guesthouse was really amazing. The room was truly excellent and wonderful for a duo couple or small family. The breakfasts were always fresh and wonderfully prepared. However the real highlight of our stay, was the laughs we shared with Jason, the manager. He really brightened up our mornings, took excellent care of us and showed a lot of respect for his staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

The owners, Sharl and Jennifer were very friendly and helpful offering tips for places to visit. What stood out to my wife and I were the excellent breakfast on offer. Jennifer made an English breakfast, but also offered an excellent omelette and at other times crepes. The garden at Mandalay Beach Guest House is so beautiful, but so is the whole property! We would recommend this Guest House for those looking for a quiet vacation spot that is within a 10 minute walk from the beach, and also close to Cape Town. Our stay of 12 nights were absolutely enjoyable, we will miss the hospitality and graciousness of Sharl and Jennifer.
