I had considered a cruise but and am so glad I chose this Felucca. We are a small familiy and we all loved it. Captain Ahmed and Islam were the most gentle of men, a pleasure to have met them. The food was delicious and plentiful. Due to our flight times we stayed in Aswan on the first evening. Gamal, the owner, showed us around his homeplace, Elephantine Island, which was interesting. On the Nile, the stopping points in the evening were islands, which were safe and peaceful. We had refreshing swims.

From dawn till dusk, every moment was a reminder of the beauty and serenity of nature, making it an unforgettable experience.

This was a great experience overall. The schedule was well coordinated for the most part, the food was plentiful, and the room was comfortable. The staff was attentive and there was sufficient space and loungers by the cooling pool. We did have to pay for tickets to enter the various ruins and temples, but we were guided through them with English speaking guides. For the early morning tour of the Edfu Temple, we were loaded on horse and buggies, which was a fun way to navigate the morning scene. We liked that Omar and Enjy were easy to reach on WhatsApp and responsive to our questions. Slowly gliding down the scenic Nile was just lovely. As far as the tours go, they varied. The best one was with Nervien, the only woman we had guiding us. She had clear English and did not rush through the information as some of the others did. She checked the comprehension by saying, OK? With a short pause, which is important for a guide in order to provide space for clarifying questions. Nervien also provided some photos to preview what we would see in the tombs and then let us go inside on our own.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were delicious, fresh, and well presented, offering both local Egyptian cuisine and international options. Dining while sailing on the Nile was simply magical. The itinerary was perfectly planned, covering all the major historical sites between Aswan and Luxor. The guided tours to temples and landmarks were well organized, informative, and very enjoyable. Visiting places like Kom Ombo, Edfu, and finally Luxor made the journey rich in history and culture. One of the highlights of the trip was relaxing on the sun deck while watching the stunning Nile scenery pass by—green fields, small villages, and breathtaking sunsets. The atmosphere on board was calm, elegant, and ideal for relaxation. Overall, this Nile cruise was an exceptional experience that combines comfort, history, great service, and unforgettable views. I highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Egypt. It is the perfect way to explore the Nile and enjoy a luxurious yet authentic journey.
